Two minutes: write what you think separates them. In this standard it is usually that Excellence integrates the biology, the values and the stakeholder evidence into one argument, rather than presenting three good sections that never meet.
📖 Activity 1: Biological Evidence & Ethical Analysis (25 mins)
Grade three reports (15 min). Working in threes, swap draft reports and award Achieved, Merit or Excellence to each of the three you receive, marking the exact passage that earns it. (If your class has no drafts ready, use the NZQA exemplars published for this standard.) Then state the pattern in your own words, focusing on integration rather than length.
Integrate your own (10 min). Find the place in your report where the biology and the ethics sit side by side without connecting. Rewrite that junction so one depends on the other. Underline the rewrite.

Report — Section 9. Submit: (1) three graded extracts with the grade-earning passage marked; (2) your statement of what integration means here; (3) your rewritten junction with the addition underlined.
